Job Type: Contract to potential full-time
Overview:
We’re seeking a data-driven Digital Marketing Strategist with a sharp analytical mind and agency experience to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a marketer who thrives on turning numbers into narratives—connecting the dots between campaign execution and business impact for clients across a range of industries.
As a Digital Marketing Strategist, you’ll be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing digital campaigns across multiple channels, with a heavy emphasis on data interpretation and reporting. You’ll work cross-functionally with creative, media, and development teams to deliver measurable results and insights that move the needle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage strategic digital marketing campaigns (email, paid media, SEO, etc.) tailored to client goals and KPIs.
- Analyze campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and CRM platforms to deliver data-backed insights.
- Build and maintain dashboards to track and report performance metrics in real time.
- Use customer and behavioral data to segment audiences, personalize messaging, and improve conversion funnels.
- Collaborate with internal teams (creative, content, media buying) to ensure campaigns are optimized from both creative and technical standpoints.
- Present regular campaign updates and post-mortem reports to clients, translating data into clear, actionable insights.
- Manage email marketing strategy, including list segmentation, A/B testing, automation workflows, and performance tracking.
- Maintain data hygiene and integrity across marketing platforms and client databases.
- Stay current with digital marketing trends, analytics platforms, and privacy regulations.
What You Bring:
- 3–5+ years of digital marketing experience, preferably in an agency or studio environment.
- Deep understanding of marketing analytics tools, especially Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio.
- Strong experience with CRM and email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Proficient in using data to optimize campaigns and communicate ROI to clients.
- Experience with paid media platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.) a plus.
- Working knowledge of SEO principles and website analytics.
- Strong communication skills with a client-facing presence and ability to “storytell” with data.
- Highly organized, deadline-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with e-commerce, B2B SaaS, or lifestyle/consumer brands.
- Familiarity with SQL, data visualization tools, or CDPs.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow).
Why This Role:
You'll be part of a nimble, fast-paced agency environment where your ideas and insights make a direct impact. This is a high-visibility role suited for someone who enjoys solving problems with data and leading performance conversations with clients.
