About SmartScale

At SmartScale, we help innovative companies build future-ready teams.

We specialize in recruiting AI-First talent — professionals who think and work differently because they use AI as a strategic advantage.

Our clients are fast-scaling startups and tech companies transforming how products are built and decisions are made through AI.

We’re currently seeking a Product Manager for one of our clients — a modern SaaS company redefining how organizations scale through intelligent automation, data-driven decision-making, and human-AI collaboration.

About the Role

As an AI-First Product Manager, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle — from discovery to delivery — leveraging AI to accelerate learning, validate hypotheses, and create lovable products that solve real problems.

You’ll blend classic product management excellence — customer empathy, prioritization, stakeholder alignment — with AI-First thinking that helps you move from idea to MVP faster, and from MVP to market success smarter.

You’ll be part strategist, part builder, part experimenter — using AI not to replace creativity but to supercharge it.

Your Core Responsibilities

Product Discovery & Strategy

  • Identify and deeply understand customer problems, pain points, and opportunities.
  • Use AI tools to analyze qualitative feedback, detect patterns, and prioritize insights.
  • Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned with business goals and user value.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering to define hypotheses, MVPs, and success metrics.

Execution & Delivery

  • Create data-informed product roadmaps balancing impact, effort, and user delight.
  • Leverage AI to support backlog grooming, market research, competitor analysis, and documentation.
  • Partner closely with engineering on vibe coding and rapid MVP iterations — creating products that not only work but feel right to use.
  • Ensure delivery is customer-centric, iterative, and evidence-driven.

AI-First Enablement

  • Use LLMs and AI tools (ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude, Notion AI, etc.) to generate user stories, summarize feedback, or simulate user flows.
  • Automate repetitive workflows — sprint summaries, product update drafts, or roadmap reporting — via tools like Zapier or n8n.
  • Apply AI to analyze user data, predict adoption risks, and support prioritization decisions.
  • Encourage ethical and transparent AI use within the product organization.

AI-First Competencies

Prompt-writing & reasoning: Generate insights, synthesize customer feedback, and simulate scenarios for product discovery.

Workflow automation: Integrate tools and automate low-value PM tasks to stay focused on product impact.

Data literacy: Understand analytics and AI-driven insights to inform roadmap decisions.

MVP & Vibe Coding: Rapidly build and validate product hypotheses that balance functionality and user experience.

Critical & ethical AI use: Validate AI-generated results and ensure responsible use of data.

Your Profile

  • 3–5+ years of Product Management experience in SaaS or tech.
  • Proven success in building products from concept to launch with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of agile development, user research, and metrics-driven prioritization.
  • Comfortable using AI tools to analyze feedback, automate workflows, or support decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management — you connect dots between tech, design, and business.
  • Entrepreneurial, curious, and motivated by building lovable, scalable products.
  • Fluent in English (other European languages a plus).

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Join a company that truly lives the AI-First philosophy — blending innovation with human creativity.
  • Shape how modern Product Management evolves in the age of AI.
  • Work with forward-thinking teams that value experimentation, speed, and outcome-driven innovation.
  • Flexible, remote-friendly setup with a culture of learning, autonomy, and ownership.
