Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role works closely with senior leadership, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the project team throughout all phases of construction
• Partner closely with Superintendents to manage day-to-day operations
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost controls
• Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and consultants
• Manage subcontractor relationships, scopes, contracts, and performance
• Track project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
• Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and successful project closeout

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software (Procore preferred)
• Client-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
• Comfortable participating in project interviews and presentations

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field and/or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3+ years as a Project Manager
• At least 6 years of experience in commercial construction

Additional Skills

• Ability to analyze schedules, budgets, and technical documents
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform construction-related math and cost analysis
• Procore, Bluebeam or other construction software experience
