Quality Engineer – Motion Simulation Technology

ARCA Resourcing is partnered with a rapidly scaling, world-class motion simulation business seeking to expand its research and development engineering teams.

This organisation is revolutionising the automotive and motorsport driving simulator market with its disruptive motion generator technology. Their cutting-edge approach to simulator design delivers more data about vehicle dynamics and ride feel — with less latency and more accuracy than any other motion simulator available today.


About the Role

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of advanced driving simulators and motion generator systems. You’ll combine technical expertise with strong communication skills to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Quality & Inspection

  • Resolve quality issues using established non-conformance procedures.
  • Conduct in-house inspections of materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Develop inspection templates and part-specific procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and inspection processes.
  • Prepare quality documentation, reports, and data analyses.

Collaboration & Supplier Management

  • Review and assess supplier inspection and technical documentation.
  • Manage supplier quality through audits, site visits, and performance monitoring.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to embed quality control measures throughout the build process.


What We’re Looking For

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2–5 years’ experience in an engineering environment (automotive, aerospace, or high-tech sectors preferred).
  • Proven background in supplier quality management.
  • Experience with continuous improvement processes and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and familiarity with standards such as UL508A / CE marking / TÜV desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence.
