Our client is a well-established global manufacturer seeking a Marketing Manager to take the lead on all marketing activity as they replace a long-serving member of the team that is retiring. This standalone role offers full autonomy, the chance to reshape the role to suit your way of working, as well as the opportunity to support upcoming growth and new initiatives. 


Benefits:

Competitive salary £45,000 - £48,000 dependant on experience

Annual performance based bonus up to 10%

Car Allowance

Office based - Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm

Role responsibilities:

  • Manage and update the company website, ensuring accurate content and strong user experience.
  • Lead all social media activity, including content planning, scheduling and engagement.
  • Plan, coordinate and deliver exhibitions, trade shows and promotional events from concept to delivery.
  • Create high-quality print and digital marketing materials to support campaigns and product launches.
  • Lead the coordination and execution of all marketing plans in accordance with the overall business strategy.
  • Build additional plans where necessary in response to market demands.
  • Work closely with internal teams to develop commercial, innovative sales and marketing strategies to continuously aim for that market leader position in this industry.
  • Collaborate with the Management Team on market updates as well as wider operational activities.
  • Focus on growing audiences to increase the uptake of products and services.
  • Conception, development and implementation of product concepts, launch strategies and promotional programs to drive interest and sales.
  • Budget-management skills and proficiency.
  • Updating senior leadership on the progress of marketing activities and reporting on the results of campaigns.
  • Provide insightful KPI reports to the Management team, using analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges
  • Working to continuously ensure the company marketing goals are communicated across the entire organisation and improving the company’s marketing outreach efforts.
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans aligned with business objectives
  • Oversee brand identity and consistency across all channels
  • Produce engaging content for online, offline and customer-facing communications


The Person:

  • Substantial experience within a B2B Senior Marketing role preferably within a manufacturing/ engineering environment
  • Proven experience across both print and digital marketing
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload independently in a standalone role
  • Creative thinker with excellent copywriting and content creation abilities
  • Proven ability in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
  • Demonstrable experience of launching new products effectively.
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret market trends and data.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Superior interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • A positive, encouraging and approachable manner.
