Debt and Customer Service Advisor

Worcester

£28 - 33k DOE – permanent

9am – 5pm Monday – Friday

The Role:

• Handle customer enquiries by phone, email and live chat

• Manage overdue accounts and agree sustainable repayment plans

• Reinstate failed Direct Debits and set up suitable payment schedules

• Support with billing queries, refunds and account adjustments

• Investigate disputes and resolve complaints professionally

• Maintain accurate CRM records and follow regulatory requirements

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to resolve complex cases

• Share insight to help improve processes and service quality


Person Requirements:

• Experience in debt collection, credit control or arrears management

• Strong customer service background

• Confident communicator with a supportive, empathetic approach

• Able to manage sensitive conversations around money and vulnerability

• Skilled at investigating issues and finding fair, practical solutions

• Comfortable working with CRM and billing systems

• Calm, organised and able to thrive in a busy environment
