Location: Austin, TX or Dallas, TX (on-site; relocation supported)


Our client is a high-growth, software-enabled consumer services company is redefining a traditionally fragmented, low-trust industry through technology and operational excellence. By combining proprietary software with a vertically integrated service model, the company delivers a consistent, high-quality customer experience while improving outcomes for its workforce.


The business has achieved market leadership in multiple major metro areas with minimal paid acquisition, driven largely by strong unit economics and organic demand. With a ~$10M revenue run rate and highly efficient customer economics, the company is now preparing for its next phase of growth, including geographic expansion and institutional fundraising.


Having proven product-market fit and operational dominance in its core markets, the company is now investing in building a scalable, repeatable growth engine for the first time.


Position Overview:

This is a founding-level growth role responsible for building the entire customer acquisition function from the ground up. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will define strategy, implement infrastructure, and execute across channels with full ownership of outcomes.


You will operate as a hands-on, individual contributor for the first 6–12 months—personally managing channels, building attribution systems, and driving measurable growth—before hiring and scaling a team as performance justifies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end customer acquisition across paid, organic, referral, and emerging channels
  • Build and manage a multi-channel growth engine (Meta, Google, TikTok, and beyond)
  • Establish attribution, analytics, and reporting systems from scratch
  • Allocate and optimize a ~$50K/month marketing budget with clear ROI accountability
  • Develop and direct marketing creative (hands-on or via external resources)
  • Design and launch referral and organic growth initiatives
  • Partner with product/engineering on growth-related features (e.g., onboarding, retention, referrals)
  • Support expansion into new geographic markets through channel and strategy planning
  • Report performance directly to the CEO and iterate quickly based on results


Qualifications:

You likely fit if you:

  • Have owned full-funnel customer acquisition for a DTC, marketplace, or consumer services business
  • Have managed paid media across multiple channels with direct budget accountability
  • Have operated as a solo or first growth hire and delivered measurable results
  • Are highly data-driven and comfortable building attribution models and dashboards
  • Have strong instincts around marketing creative and performance optimization
  • Thrive in unstructured, early-stage environments with full ownership

  • Primarily come from B2B, SaaS, or enterprise demand generation backgrounds
  • Prefer managing teams over hands-on execution
  • Need established systems, playbooks, or clear strategic direction
  • Prioritize structured environments or strong work-life balance
  • Are not open to being on-site in Austin or Dallas
