We're looking for an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations and ensure successful project execution. This role is essential to managing day-to-day site activity, maintaining schedules, coordinating crews, and upholding safety and quality standards on complex construction projects particularly for data centers.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and supervise all field personnel on assigned projects, ensuring productivity and accountability across the board.
- Partner with project managers to keep the job on time and on budget.
- Maintain and update the overall electrical construction schedule throughout the project, and guide foremen in managing 3-week look-ahead plans.
- Coordinate procurement and delivery of materials and equipment required for project execution.
- Ensure all work aligns with applicable codes, specifications, and quality standards; help implement and maintain QA/QC initiatives.
- Enforce jobsite safety protocols, conduct regular safety audits, and provide training to ensure team-wide compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
- Immediately report any safety or policy violations and ensure all crew members follow organizational work rules and safety procedures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact in the field—keeping clients, contractors, and internal teams aligned through regular communication and meetings.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
What You Bring
- Minimum 8 years of electrical trade experience, with at least 3 years focused on data center projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple crews and large-scale projects involving 150+ craft workers.
- Strong skills in reading and interpreting electrical plans, specifications, submittals, and BIM models.
- Excellent communication, team leadership, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Ability to operate independently while collaborating with diverse project teams.
- Solid decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
- Deep knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and industry standards.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work in a safe and efficient manner.
- Willingness to work in varying outdoor weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of electrical experience, particularly on data center builds.
- Experience creating and maintaining project schedules.
- Hands-on ability to assist or lead installation and troubleshooting efforts.
- Skilled at manpower planning and crew coordination.
- Knowledge of material sourcing and procurement strategies following competitive pricing.
- Strong understanding of OSHA and jobsite safety compliance requirements
