Sales Representative

Reports To: Sales Manager / Director of Sales

Location: Fresno, CA

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to drive revenue growth through a combination of inside and outside sales activities. While you will handle some inside sales tasks (calls, emails, CRM updates), the role is primarily focused on outside sales—meeting clients face-to-face, building relationships, and closing deals in the field.

Key Responsibilities

Outside Sales (Primary Focus)

·      Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers through in-person meetings, presentations, and networking events.

·      Travel within assigned territory to conduct client visits, product demonstrations, and negotiations.

·      Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and territory management.

·      Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events to generate leads and expand market presence.

·      Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals and close sales agreements.

·      Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy.

Inside Sales (Support Activities)

·      Conduct outbound calls and follow up on warm leads to schedule appointments for outside visits.

·      Respond to inbound inquiries via phone, email, or CRM system.

·      Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline updates in CRM.

·      Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align messaging and campaigns.

Qualifications

·      Proven experience in sales, with emphasis on outside/field sales preferred.

·      Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust and rapport quickly.

·      Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

·      Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.

·      Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory.

·      High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
