**Hybrid - Monday and Tuesday - Los Angeles**
- The accountant will work in a very busy team-oriented environment.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Reviews and analyzes reports, validates accuracy and timeliness of transactions, and resolves or recommends resolution of issues.
- Analyzes, researches, and reconciles accounts and records of financial transactions, and resolves or recommends resolution of issues.
- Reconciles sub-system to General Ledger.
- Prepares cost transfers, journal entries, and check requests, and develops or updates spreadsheets and reports.
- Gathers and analyzes documentation and financial data and prepares reports for external filings.
- Maintains property ownership and escrow records.
- Evaluates requests for assistance, coordinates resolutions, and provides response.
- May provide information to internal and external auditors and assists in preparing responses to audit findings.
- May participate on a project team.
- Performs other related Accountant job duties as required
- To be successful in this role, you’ll need to work collaboratively with coworkers, perform administrative duties, and demonstrate critical thinking skills.
- The accountant will prepare and record daily cash receipt transactions and input into Oracle(12) AIR sub system, update the daily cashflow and investment spreadsheet known as "INV", and process various daily cash journals.
- Daily workdays are 60% Excel spreadsheet and 40% data entry.
- Reconcile daily cash and investments based on the ALLFD, ALLBK and Sympro.
- Prepare various month-end journals, reconciliations, debit memos and other deliverables.
- Prepare daily AP cash requirement by fund and reconcile the AP journals to AP word doc from accounts payables.
*The hiring manager is asking for someone who has a minimum of 3years of accounting experience and is proficient in excel in creating pivot tables.
Experience Qualifications:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration with an emphasis on accounting from an accredited college or university and two years of relevant experience , or a combination of education and experience equaling six years.
- General Required Knowledge of: Accounting concepts, principles, and practices, including rules and regulations issued by the appropriate governing bodies; enterprise accounting software; and current office technology and equipment.
- General Required Skills and Abilities to: Use enterprise accounting systems; 10 key by touch; use independent judgment and exercise discretion; problem solve; prioritize and multi-task; communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work; work independently and in a team environment; and operate current office equipment including computers and supporting applications.

- Detail orient, Organized, Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills a must.
The hiring range for this position is $40.10 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors
