RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the design and development of new energetic materials and formulations, considering factors like stability, performance, and safety.
  • Oversee technical aspects of projects, including materials selection, process optimization, and testing methodologies.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices in energetics engineering.
  • Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide performance feedback to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment focused on safety and quality.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Enforce strict safety protocols and procedures in accordance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Conduct safety reviews and hazard analysis for new product designs and manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to energetic materials handling and disposal.
  • Strong understanding of the principles of energetic materials, including chemistry, physics, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate engineering teams, fostering collaboration and problem-solving.

 

BACKGROUND PROFILE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field with a focus on energetics
  • Proven experience in the energetics industry, including product development, testing, and manufacturing
  • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and compliance requirements
  • Experience in working with hazardous materials and processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate technical information to diverse stakeholders.
