Base Salary: $95,000 to$105,000 a year

Job Qualifications:

  • Culinary degree or certificate with a minimum of three years relevant experience or a minimum of five years' experience with on-the-job experience in a related culinary field.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Experience in restaurant kitchen management preferred.
  • Sensitive palate with a well-developed sense of taste and smell.
  • Creative and able to develop innovative and profitable menu features.
  • Strong delegation and teamwork skills.
  • Determined and passionate about food with a commitment to staying current on culinary trends.
  • Organized with the ability to plan ahead.
  • Adaptable and open to change.


Job Responsibilities:

As the Executive Chef at our Cambridge, MA location, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food in line with our company standards. You will work closely with the General Manager to optimize profits and increase sales. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and directing the work of BOH managers and departments, including hiring, scheduling, training, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Ensuring timely and consistent food preparation and delivery to guests.
  • Overseeing the safety, security, and cleanliness of BOH areas and equipment.
  • Developing and presenting an annual business and budget plan.
  • Ensuring monthly compliance to budget regarding labor, food, and other costs.
  • Controlling food costs and maintaining vendor relationships.
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation.
  • Addressing guest complaints and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Managing restaurant maintenance and vendor contracts.
