  • Identify, secure, and steward corporate partnerships, including sponsorships, workplace giving programs, and employee volunteer initiatives.
  • Develop and implement stewardship strategies to improve donor retention, deepen engagement, and increase lifetime giving.
  • Assist in prospect research and support the cultivation of major gift and planned giving prospects through pipeline development and tracking.

Events Management

  • Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of all fundraising events, with a primary focus on West Fight On, the organization’s signature fundraising event.
  • Oversee event logistics, vendor relationships, sponsorship outreach and fulfillment, attendee communication, volunteer coordination, and post-event reporting.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies that drive attendance, engagement, and visibility.

CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and timely donor records in the organization’s CRM system (Virtuous preferred).
  • Generate data-driven reports to analyze fundraising performance, track campaign effectiveness, and inform decision-making.
  • Oversee timely gift entry, receipting, and acknowledgment processes to ensure a positive donor experience.

Collaboration & Administrative Support

  • Serve as a liaison across internal teams—including programs, finance, and marketing—to align fundraising strategies with organizational goals.
  • Represent the organization at community events, donor meetings, and corporate engagement opportunities.
  • Provide strategic and administrative support to the Vice President of Development and President, including preparation for donor meetings and special initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or fundraising certifications (CFRE) a plus.
  • 4–6 years of professional experience in nonprofit development, with a focus on donor engagement, corporate partnerships, and event management.
  • Demonstrated success managing fundraising campaigns and cultivating donor relationships.
  • Proficiency in donor management systems; experience with Virtuous CRM strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse donor audiences.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for health equity and a deep commitment to advancing cancer care in the Mid-South.

  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match
