Wm. D. Scepaniak Inc., is a growing, family-founded heavy civil contractor (~$50M+). They are searching for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will build and own recruiting efforts across the business.

WDS specializes in producing and hauling aggregate materials (sand, gravel, crushed stone) that support large-scale infrastructure and construction projects across the U.S.—the kind of work that quite literally builds the roads and development around us.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a high-impact role where you’ll have real ownership, direct exposure to leadership, and the ability to shape recruiting as the company continues to scale.

What You’ll Do

• Proactively source and engage candidates (Indeed, outreach, etc.)
• Lead initial phone screens and manage candidate pipelines
• Partner closely with operations to understand hiring needs tied to project load
• Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and manage offers
• Build relationships with candidates—before roles even open

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5+ years of recruiting or sales experience
• Comfortable with high-volume outreach and fast-paced environments
• Organized, proactive, and personable
• Someone who takes ownership and doesn’t wait to be told what to do
