A crypto-asset investment firm is looking to add an Associate to its fast-growing DeFi Labs team. The firm leverages a deep crypto network, proprietary data infrastructure, and hands-on research to drive decisions across several fund strategies and on-chain initiatives.
The DeFi Labs team is known as a highly respected curator of DeFi lending, borrowing, and restaking vaults. Due to rapid growth, they’re hiring someone to support key operational, research, and marketing efforts across the portfolio. This is a hands-on role that sits at the intersection of on-chain execution, protocol research, and client engagement.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about DeFi, excited to work directly with top-tier crypto teams globally, and ready to contribute across multiple parts of the vault lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Protocol Engagement
- Identify new protocols and engage with protocol teams to evaluate opportunities and risks
- Monitor ecosystem news and synthesize insights
- Assess technical requirements for integrating new chains, platforms, or vaults
- Manage protocol and asset issuer relationships (e.g., contract updates, new reward terms)
Vault Operations
- Monitor vault performance across platforms and chains
- Plan and execute complex on-chain transactions (setup, exit, rebalancing, allocation changes, etc.)
- Support onboarding vaults onto new platforms
- Collaborate with restaking operators and internal teams (Tech, PM, DeFi Labs) to support automation and expansion
Marketing & Content
- Contribute research and content for publishing on social and blog channels
- Identify and highlight top-performing vaults for promotion
- Support content creation for vault launches and protocol campaigns
Ideal Candidate
- Direct experience in DeFi or crypto-native financial products
- Confident executing complex on-chain transactions
- Strong commercial and entrepreneurial mindset
- Comfortable operating at a fast pace with shifting priorities
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple initiatives at once
- Excellent communicator with the ability to simplify complex ideas
- University graduate (technical or business background a plus)
