We are seeking a seasoned and driven Head of Ecosystem & Business Development to lead the expansion of a next-generation Layer 2 blockchain. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, partnerships, and web3-native growth, helping shape a decentralized ecosystem with developers, partners, and community stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Drive ecosystem expansion by identifying, onboarding, and supporting decentralized applications (dApps), tooling providers, infrastructure partners, and integrations.
- Define and execute go-to-market strategies to attract builders and strategic partners, working cross-functionally with product, marketing, and engineering teams.
- Manage the partnership pipeline, from outreach through negotiation to integration support.
- Represent the organization externally at events, conferences, and through thought leadership to strengthen visibility and credibility.
- Support grant and incentive programs to attract and retain ecosystem participants.
- Track and report on KPIs related to ecosystem growth, partner success, and overall business impact.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or ecosystem roles, ideally within Web3, developer tooling, or blockchain infrastructure.
- Strong network across the crypto ecosystem with a track record of driving deals or partnerships.
- Deep understanding of blockchain ecosystems, particularly L1s/L2s, and the needs of developers and founders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
