Responsibilities
- Lead a team that handles all monthly close, reporting and financial analysis for this grain trading and merchandising business
- Manage daily mark-to-market accounting, hedge / derivative accounting, and position reporting for physical and futures contracts
- Become an expert on this company’s trading software – we are searching for a tech savvy individual who loves digging into technology tools
- Supervise and support a team of accountants with an average tenure of over 5 years per person
- Work daily with commodity traders, trade assistants and operations in a highly collaborative and open environment
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the executive team to support business decisions and long-term growth
