About the Role

We’re hiring an Outside Sales Account Manager to drive growth across a multi-state territory in the Southeast U.S. In this role, you'll manage key accounts, build executive relationships, and develop new business in industries where packaging makes a difference.


This is a remote role with frequent travel within your territory. We’re looking for someone who’s self-motivated, strategic, and ready to own results, someone who knows how to close deals and build long-term partnerships.


What You’ll Do

  • Manage 30+ key client relationships 
  • Identify, pitch, and close new business opportunities 
  • Call on executive-level decision makers 
  • Own the full sales cycle (avg. 6+ months) from prospecting to close
  • Generate leads through industry networking and outbound efforts
  • Grow your territory by 8–10% annually, consistently

What We’re Looking For

  • 8–10 years of B2B outside sales experience
  • 4+ years independently running a sales territory
  • Proven ability to self-generate 50–75% of your revenue
  • Strong network in Food, Industrial, Manufacturing, Packaging, or similar sectors
  • Experience with mid-to-senior executive sales
  • Self-starter who thrives with autonomy and accountability
  • Willingness to travel frequently across territory

Bonus Points For:

  • Packaging experience (supply chain, product development, engineering, etc.)
  • Membership in relevant industry associations or trade groups
