With a focus on commercial, industrial, and institutional masonry projects throughout Michigan, the Company takes pride in their quality workmanship. The Company has experienced steady growth over the years and is looking to add a Construction Project Engineer to their growing team.

The Project Engineer Position

The Project Engineer supports the successful execution of construction projects by assisting in managing operations, coordinating documentation, and assisting with scheduling, procurement, and safety efforts. The Project Engineer works closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent to keep projects on track from preconstruction though closeout.

Key responsibilities include processing submittals and RFI’s, maintaining accurate project records, supporting schedule development, tracking material deliveries, attending weekly meetings, assisting in cost control and change management, and reinforcing jobsite safety protocols.

Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities of the Project Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of construction industry experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Familiarity with Procore
• Strong attention to detail in addition to communication and organizational skills
