Contract Administration Manager 

The Contract Administration Manager oversees the Contract Administration department in the successful administration, billing, and collections related to C.A. Hull projects. Working in conjunction with the C.A. Hull’s Estimating, Accounting, and Project teams to ensure contract compliance, the Contract Administration Manager is responsible for and involved in every aspect of managing contracts, from pay applications with owners to the execution of supplier and subcontractor agreements. 

 

The Contract Administration Manager manages potential disputes or challenges with owners and subcontractors, effectively minimizing legal and financial exposure while supporting and mentoring the contract administration team. 

 

Education, Experience and Qualifications for the Contract Administration Manager 

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering or Accounting fields preferred  
  • 5 to 7 years of Contract Admin-related experience in DOT/Heavy/Highway preferred, with experience working closely with Project Managers and Engineers  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe and Bluebeam and comprehensive accounting software, preferably Vista by Viewpoint  
  • Familiarity with State of Michigan project management/administration software (ProjectWise, MILogin for Business, AASHTOWare Project, FieldManager, Enterprise eSignature Sender, etc.) is beneficial 
  • Extreme attention to detail and the patience and tenacity to see projects through to completion 
  • Well-defined sense of organization and self-motivation with excellent problem-solving skills 

  

Compensation, Benefits, and Structure 

The position is full-time with a competitive compensation package based on skills and experience. C.A.
