Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Summary: Infusion Health’s Registered Nurses are responsible for providing infusion nursing services to assigned patients in accordance with the patient’s plan of care.

The Registered Nurse performs a variety of duties such as:
- Responsible for the clinical record for each patient receiving infusion care
- Assuring that progress reports are made to the physician for patients receiving nursing services, when the patient’s condition changes, or there are deviations from the plan of care
- Adhering to Infusion Health’s policies and procedures, including patient care policies
- Performing initial patient evaluations and assessments and develops a written plan of treatment
- Regularly re-assessing the patient’s condition and nursing needs and updates the plan treatment
- Furnishing services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skills
- Initiation of appropriate preventive nursing procedures
- Preparing clinical and progress notes, coordinates services, informs the physician and other personnel of changes in the patient’s condition and needs
- Counseling the patient and family in meeting nursing and related needs
- Initiating case conferences and communicates the patient plan of treatment with team members
- Evaluating and re-evaluating the need for services
- Providing appropriate patient education and teaching materials
- Represents Infusion Health in a positive and professional manner
Preferred Experience, Skills and Abilities for the Registered Nurse Position:
- 2+ years of healthcare experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required, Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred
- Current RN license in Michigan and CRNI encouraged
- Current CPR certification or receive prior to hire date
- Skilled in IV Therapy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Primary work area is in home care, requiring the ability to drive to patient homes and working in an office/clinic setting
- Areas of coverage include Southeast MI, Detroit and can encompass Western MI periodically
