The Account Manager Position
The Account Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining strong relationships with key customers while driving sales growth and identifying opportunities to expand market share. This position requires a proactive, relationship-driven professional who can manage a large customer portfolio and ensure client satisfaction through consistent communication, problem solving, and value-added service.
The Account Manager develops and manages a portfolio of 100–200 customers with regular outreach and support, identifies key accounts representing major growth opportunities, visits customers and prospective customers to assist with service and product needs, generates new business by leveraging existing customer relationships and referrals, and creates and implements annual sales action plans to meet growth objectives.
