The Part-Time Cleaner

The Cleaner is a part-time position responsible for cleaning and maintaining the Brighton Light House and All Heart Garage, with a typical schedule of 1–2 hours per weekday and occasional weekend hours following events. In addition to regular cleaning duties, the cleaner will also support team events and activities from time to time. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean environment and is looking for consistent, part-time hours. Reliability, attention to detail, and a positive, team-oriented attitude are key.

Responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness of two facilities by vacuuming and sweeping floors, mopping or Swiffering surfaces, cleaning bathrooms (including toilets and floors), emptying trash and taking garbage to dumpsters, and dusting and performing general tidying throughout the buildings. This role will also assist with events and activities from time to time, supporting the overall team as needed to ensure spaces are clean, organized, and welcoming.

Targeted Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Part-Time Cleaner

• 1-3 years’ experience as a cleaner, janitor, or in a similar role is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safe use of cleaning products
• Ability to work efficiently without close supervision
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting (up to 25 pounds), bending, and standing for long periods
• Pleasant and friendly demeanor

Compensation, Benefits, and Structure for the Part-Time Cleaner

• The position is part-time, hourly, and non-exempt
• This position is typically flexible, requiring approximately 1-2 hours per day Monday through Friday and occasional weekends.
• Compensation will depend on experience, skills, abilities, and length of service with the Company
