Director, Digital Experience
Location: Greater Chicago (Hybrid)
Comp: $160K - $250K
We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Director, Digital Experience to lead the end-to-end digital journey across web, app, and email for a global, consumer-focused technology and manufacturing company. You will own the strategy, roadmap, and performance for our digital ecosystem, driving measurable growth in traffic, engagement, conversion, and loyalty.
What you’ll do
- Lead the holistic digital experience across web, mobile app, and lifecycle channels, from awareness through retention.
- Define audience-centric journeys, content, and messaging cadences that improve conversion and customer lifetime value.
- Oversee the transition to a headless, composable digital stack and the consolidation of multiple sites into a coherent, scalable experience.
- Build and lead a high-performing team while managing key agency and vendor partners.
- Implement journey analytics and an experimentation culture (A/B and multivariate) to continually optimize KPIs such as conversion, CLV, and NPS/CSAT.
What we’re looking for
- 10+ years in digital experience or lifecycle marketing, including 5+ years leading teams and cross-functional programs.
- Proven track record with headless/composable CMS or commerce transformations.
- Strong CRO/UX expertise and experience driving site and funnel performance improvements.
- Deep experience in omnichannel content and lifecycle marketing (email, push, in-app).
