Career Staffing Talent (CST) is partnered with a global, high-growth technology company operating at the intersection of AI and digital entertainment.

As the company continues scaling its U.S. footprint, they are hiring a Senior Tax Accountant, Indirect Tax to own and build the U.S. indirect tax function from the ground up.

This is not a back-office role — this is a high-visibility, build-something role with direct impact on compliance strategy and business growth.

🔧 What You’ll Do

✔ Own U.S. multistate sales & use tax compliance (filings, accuracy, deadlines)

✔ Manage external tax advisors and coordinate return preparation

✔ Monitor and interpret state & local tax law changes (SaaS, digital goods, gaming)

✔ Lead nexus analysis and maintain registrations as the business expands

✔ Partner with Finance, Ops, and global tax teams on product launches and tax treatment

✔ Support state audits and tax authority inquiries

✔ Build and scale indirect tax processes in a fast-growing environment

🎯 What We’re Looking For

✔ 5+ years of U.S. indirect tax experience (sales & use tax focus)

✔ Background in Big 4 or in-house (tech, SaaS, gaming, e-commerce preferred)

✔ Strong knowledge of digital goods taxability, nexus, and multistate compliance

✔ Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field

✔ CPA or EA preferred

✔ Ability to operate independently in a lean, high-growth environment

✔ Strong communicator — able to simplify complex tax concepts
