About the Opportunity
Career Staffing Talent (CST) has been engaged by an Am Law 100 firm to identify a Real Estate Associate for its Kansas City office.
This is a growth hire — not a backfill — driven by the continued expansion of the firm’s national real estate platform.
The role offers exposure to high-profile development and investment transactions, including complex multi-jurisdictional deals and specialized asset classes such as data centers.
Associates in this group work directly with nationally recognized partners, gaining meaningful deal responsibility while collaborating with attorneys across multiple offices.

What You’ll Be Doing
🔹 Support a national real estate practice on sophisticated transactional matters from the Kansas City office
🔹 Handle acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, and portfolio transactions across multiple asset classes
🔹 Lead title and survey review, due diligence coordination, and closing deliverables on high-profile development and investment deals
🔹 Work closely with senior partners on joint venture structures, financing components, and complex development projects
🔹 Draft and negotiate transaction documents across the full deal lifecycle, including:
• Purchase & Sale Agreements
• Development Agreements
• Joint Venture Documentation
• Financing Agreements
🔹 Collaborate with attorneys across offices in real estate, finance, and specialty practice areas
What We’re Looking For
✔ 3–6+ years of sophisticated transactional real estate experience at a large or well-regarded law firm
✔ Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, development work, and title/survey review
✔ Joint venture and financing experience strongly preferred
✔ Exposure to data centers or complex asset development is a plus
✔ J.D. with strong academic credentials
✔ Missouri bar admission or eligibility for admission via UBE waiver
✔ Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to manage matters independently
✔ Willingness to work 5 days in-office in Kansas City (relocation candidates welcome)
