Vale Group has partnered with a leading contractor specializing in large-scale plumbing projects who is actively seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee upcoming projects in North and South Carolina, with immediate assignments in Asheville, NC; Greenville, SC; and Charleston, SC. This role pays up to $140k, based on experience. Candidates must have extensive new construction leadership experience and a proven ability to manage crews and complex, multi-million-dollar projects from start to finish.

Requirements of the Traveling Superintendent:
● Minimum 10 years in a Foreman II or equivalent supervisory role, with extensive new construction experience.
● Proven ability to manage crews of 20+ on multi-million-dollar projects ($7.5M+).
● Proficient in overseeing the installation and repair of commercial and industrial plumbing systems, including water, sewer, storm lines, and various plumbing fixtures/equipment.
● Strong organizational skills with the ability to read blueprints, manage construction documents, schedule work, and coordinate with multiple trades.
● OSHA 30 Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
● Valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
● High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
● Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
● Safety-focused mindset with the ability to act as Competent Person on the jobsite and enforce OSHA standards.
● First Aid/CPR, Fall Protection, Confined Space, and related certifications preferred.
Responsibilities of the Traveling Superintendent:
● Lead and oversee all phases of plumbing installation for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety policies, and project timelines.
● Coordinate with management, clients, and trade partners to ensure timely, cost-effective completion.
● Direct and mentor foremen, plumbers, apprentices, and laborers to maintain productivity, quality, and safety.
● Maintain accurate daily reports, safety documentation, material tracking, and scheduling using company technology.
● Enforce safety standards, perform regular safety inspections, and promptly address any hazards.
● Act as primary on-site representative, maintaining strong relationships with clients and trade partners.
● Ensure company tools, equipment, and vehicles are maintained in proper working condition.
● Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
