Vale Group has partnered with an aviation services organization based in Melbourne, AR, which is actively seeking an experienced Quality Manager / Chief Inspector to work onsite for a full-time opportunity paying up to $100K- based on experience and credentials. This role supports a highly specialized aircraft component repair environment, where exceptional knowledge of inspection practices, regulatory compliance, and airworthiness standards is essential. The position centers on overseeing quality operations within a Part 145 setting, ensuring all work meets federal guidelines and manufacturer-approved instructions.


Requirements of the Quality Manager / Chief Inspector:

● At least 10 years of experience in the repair or overhaul of aviation components and related assemblies

● Strong background working within FAA-regulated environments (Part 145)

● Airframe & Powerplant Certificate preferred, or previous authorization as a Repairman

● Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and accepted inspection procedures

● Experienced with AS9100/AS9110 quality standards and auditing processes

● Minimum 5 years overseeing quality systems, quality plans, and compliance programs

● Ability to train and support team members performing inspection-related tasks

● Familiarity with calibration oversight, technical data control, and Return-to-Service requirements

● Must be legally eligible to work in the United States and pass all mandatory drug/alcohol testing

● Strong communication skills and proficiency in written and verbal English


Responsibilities of the Quality Manager / Chief Inspector:

● Ensure that all maintenance activities align with the organization’s authorized capabilities and regulatory guidelines

● Perform hands-on inspections, quality checks, and Return-to-Service actions for approved components

● Guide and assist personnel involved in maintenance and inspection tasks

● Oversee facility standards, tooling requirements, documentation accuracy, and technical data management

● Confirm that equipment meets equivalency standards and is properly calibrated

● Maintain awareness of all current regulatory updates, service bulletins, and approved methods

● Support communication with internal leadership and external agencies when required

● Contribute to ongoing process improvements and uphold quality control expectations

● Prepare reports, documentation, and quality records to satisfy operational requirements

● Support additional quality initiatives or special projects as needed
