Vale Group, a nationwide specialized recruitment firm, has partnered with a company based in Miami, FL, who is actively searching for an experienced Commercial Landing Gear Technician to work onsite for an opportunity paying based on experience and certifications, which may be up to $50/HR. Please note, the upper range is reserved for candidates with both their A&P and vast experience. This second-shift role operates within a regulated repair station environment and focuses on hands-on overhaul, inspection, and assembly of commercial aircraft landing gear systems supporting Boeing and Airbus platforms. The position requires a technician comfortable working in high-volume maintenance operations while maintaining strict compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements of the Commercial Landing Gear Technician:
● Minimum of 3+ years of experience performing aircraft component repair, teardown, and reassembly
● Experience working on landing gear assemblies including both main and nose configurations
● FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant certification strongly preferred
● Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, technical schematics, and engineering documentation
● Prior experience working within FAA-regulated repair or quality environments
● Familiarity with electronic maintenance tracking or repair documentation systems
● Experience supporting Boeing and/or Airbus landing gear platforms required
● Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to precision tolerances
Responsibilities of the Commercial Landing Gear Technician:
● Disassemble, inspect, restore, and reassemble landing gear assemblies and subcomponents
● Measure and verify part condition and dimensional compliance using calibrated instruments
● Document maintenance actions in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
● Interpret technical publications to support repair and overhaul determinations
● Operate specialized shop tooling and equipment used during component servicing
● Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve inspection findings and repair dispositions
● Support as needed
