Vale Group, a nationwide specialized recruitment firm, has partnered with a company based in Timonium, MD, who is actively searching for an experienced Commercial Plumbing Technician to work mostly in the area of Central Maryland with homebase in Timonium. This role supports clients throughout Central Maryland and requires a licensed Journeyman- or Master-level technician with strong commercial service experience, paying up to ~45/hour, with some flexibility for the right individual. The position is hands-on and focused on troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance in the field, requiring someone who can diagnose issues independently while delivering strong service across commercial environments.


On call rotation is a must (every 15-16 weeks currently, subject to change)

Requirements of the Commercial Plumbing Technician:

● Journeyman or Master-level plumbing license required

● 5+ years of commercial plumbing service experience

● Strong troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance experience in the field

● Backflow certification or other plumbing-related certifications preferred

● Ability to diagnose and service commercial plumbing systems independently

● Strong communication and customer service skills

● Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred

● Experience with commercial water, waste, vent, gas, and fixture systems preferred


Responsibilities of the Commercial Plumbing Technician:

● Perform service, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on commercial plumbing systems

● Diagnose mechanical and operational issues in the field and complete timely repairs

● Conduct preventative maintenance and inspect plumbing systems to identify issues before failure

● Communicate service findings and repair recommendations clearly to customers and internal teams

● Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records of work performed

● Participate in an on-call rotation currently scheduled approximately every 5-6 weeks

● Respond to emergency service requests and support clients throughout the Central Maryland territory

● Support the servicing team as needed.
