Vale Group, a nationwide specialized recruitment firm, has partnered with a company based in the area of Lakeland, FL, who is actively searching for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to work onsite for an opportunity paying up to $100K (base) annually, based on experience. This role operates as a key finance business partner supporting operational leadership by delivering visibility into materials pricing, indirect spend, and overall cost behavior within a manufacturing environment. The position focuses on providing forward-looking analysis, strengthening cost controls, and helping leadership understand how input cost dynamics impact finished goods margins and profitability.

Requirements of the Senior Financial Analyst:

● Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline

● 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, cost analysis, or operational finance roles

● Strong understanding of cost structures within manufacturing or production environments

● Ability to evaluate how material costs and operational inputs impact finished goods margins

● Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools

● Advanced Excel and strong analytical modeling capabilities

● Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights

● Experience with data visualization platforms such as Power BI preferred

Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst:

● Serve as a finance partner to Operations, Procurement, and Finance teams to provide insight into cost drivers and margin performance

● Analyze material pricing trends, indirect spend, and cost fluctuations affecting product profitability

● Develop and maintain reporting that increases visibility into cost structure and margin performance

● Evaluate how input cost movements influence finished goods costs and overall margin outcomes

● Support scenario analysis tied to sourcing decisions, operational changes, and market conditions

● Assist in strengthening financial controls and ensuring accuracy in cost-related data and reporting

● Support month-end close activities including cost-related variance analysis and reporting

● Support ad-hoc tasks as needed
