Vale Group has partnered with a company based in Fort Myers, FL, who is actively searching for an experienced Landscape Architect to work onsite for an opportunity paying $80,000–$130,000 annually, based on experience. This position will support the design team by ensuring project quality, managing client relationships, and overseeing successful delivery through each phase of the landscape architecture process.
Requirements of the Landscape Architect:
● Proven ability to manage landscape architecture projects from concept through construction
● Strong communication skills for collaboration with clients, vendors, contractors, and municipal staff
● Experience in preparing proposals, tracking budgets, and writing technical reports
● Authorization to sign and seal plans in the state of Florida
● 5+ years of experience in landscape design, estimating, and project management
● Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture
● Licensed by the State of Florida in Landscape Architecture (or equivalent)
● Thorough understanding of applicable codes, legal frameworks, and design standards
● Proficiency in construction methods and the full build process
Responsibilities of the Landscape Architect:
● Lead and support design teams on high-quality landscape architecture projects
● Maintain strong client relationships and manage expectations
● Collaborate with contractors, municipal personnel, and vendors throughout project lifecycles
● Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
● Prepare and review technical documentation and construction plans
● Monitor project budgets and timelines
● Support as needed
