Litigation Associate – San Diego, CA

A nationally recognized defense litigation firm is hiring a litigation associate for its growing San Diego office. The firm expanded its West Coast presence by integrating more than 50 experienced litigators across California and the broader region.

This role offers the opportunity to join a high-performing team with deep experience in complex commercial litigation, insurance defense, product liability, toxic tort, and construction defect matters.

What You'll Do:

• Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice
• Work closely with trial teams on high-stakes defense matters
• Represent corporate clients in California courts and beyond
• Interact directly with clients, experts, and co-counsel

Qualifications:

• 2–6 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or product liability
• Strong legal writing and case management skills
• Admission to the California Bar
• Prior trial or deposition experience is a plus
