Compensation: $260,000 - $390,000

A nationally ranked IP group is seeking a Trademark Associate to join its New York office. This team has earned gold-tier recognition for its U.S. and international trademark capabilities and offers the full scope of brand protection services—portfolio management, clearance, enforcement, litigation, and advertising law counseling.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level associate looking to work with top-tier clients in media, fashion, tech, and consumer goods while gaining meaningful exposure to cross-border matters and sophisticated disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on trademark clearance, prosecution, and enforcement
• Draft and respond to cease and desist letters and TTAB pleadings
• Handle litigation and disputes involving trademark infringement, unfair competition, and false advertising
• Manage global trademark portfolios and coordinate with foreign counsel
• Provide counseling on marketing, endorsements, and FTC/NAD compliance

Ideal Candidate:

• 3–6 years of experience in trademark law at a national or boutique firm
• Experience with TTAB proceedings, domain name disputes, and global brand strategy
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• New York Bar admission (or eligible for reciprocity)
