Commercial Litigation Associate – San Diego, CA

A growing litigation group is seeking a mid-level associate with 4–6 years of experience in state and federal business litigation to join its San Diego office. This position offers substantial client contact, hands-on case responsibility, and strong long-term growth potential.

The role covers a broad range of corporate and commercial disputes, including contract, governance, real estate, land use, and bankruptcy-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft motions, discovery, briefs, and client updates
• Handle court appearances and argue procedural motions
• Take and defend depositions
• Assist with trial preparation and settlement strategy

Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of business litigation experience at a law firm
• Background in corporate disputes, M&A, real estate, or bankruptcy litigation preferred
• Strong writing, research, and courtroom skills
• California Bar admission required
• Moot court, journal, or clerkship experience a plus

Compensation: $175,000–$210,000 base salary, plus significant bonus opportunities
