Commercial Litigation Associate – New York, NY

Location: Midtown Manhattan (potential for hybrid flexibility)

Salary: $220,000 - $260,000

A nationally ranked litigation group is seeking a mid-level associate to join its New York office. The team handles high-stakes commercial disputes for clients across financial services, real estate, healthcare, and consumer products.

This is a strong platform for associates looking to build deep trial experience, work on multi-jurisdictional matters, and gain exposure to complex financial and business disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in breach of contract, fraud, fiduciary duty, and partnership disputes
• Support litigation involving financial institutions, private equity, and investment firms
• Assist with securities litigation, regulatory defense, and corporate governance matters
• Participate in class action defense, MDLs, and cross-border litigation
• Appear in court, draft motions, manage discovery, and contribute to arbitration proceedings

Qualifications:

• 3–6 years of commercial litigation experience
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Background in securities, financial services, or business torts preferred
• Admission to the New York Bar required
• Arbitration or cross-border experience is a plus
