Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our New York office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex commercial disputes, including contract litigation, business torts, and regulatory matters. You will be part of a collaborative team, representing clients in high-stakes cases across a broad range of industries.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all phases of commercial litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, trials, and appeals.
- Develop litigation strategies, conduct legal research, and draft briefs, motions, and pleadings.
- Represent clients in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and mediation proceedings.
- Work closely with clients to provide counsel on litigation risks and potential outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues on case strategies and manage junior associates as needed.
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school and admission to the New York Bar.
- 3+ years of experience in commercial litigation, preferably in a large law firm environment.
- Excellent writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
