Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Industrial Electrician to join our team at our juice processing facility in Othello, WA. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment throughout the plant to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations. This includes work on production lines, juice extraction and packaging equipment, pumps, motors, and other automated systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems including motors, VFDs, PLCs, relays, and sensors
  • Troubleshoot equipment and electrical issues on production and processing lines to minimize downtime
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and control panels
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance logs, and electrical inspections
  • Collaborate with maintenance, production, and sanitation teams to support plant efficiency
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local electrical codes, OSHA, and facility safety policies
  • Assist with capital projects, upgrades, and equipment installations as needed


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or electrical certification preferred
  • Valid Washington State Journeyman Electrician License (EL01 or EL07 highly preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience working in an industrial or food manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of 480V 3-phase systems, control wiring, and PLC troubleshooting
  • Ability to work independently and respond quickly to critical maintenance needs
  • Familiarity with food processing equipment, juice/pasteurization lines, and CIP systems a plus
  • Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
