Job Title: Senior Field Service Technician (Grade-A Physical Chemical License)

Job Summary: The Senior Field Service Technician with a Grade-A Physical Chemical License is responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing water treatment systems with a focus on physical and chemical processes. This role requires advanced technical skills, regulatory compliance expertise, and a commitment to customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and chemical water treatment systems and related equipment.
- Perform routine inspections, calibrations, and adjustments to ensure optimal system performance.
- Diagnose issues and implement repairs or adjustments, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, compliance records, and service reports.
- Conduct water quality testing and analysis, interpreting data to ensure compliance with local and state regulations.
- Follow safety procedures when handling hazardous chemicals and ensure team adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with clients to address service issues, providing clear explanations and recommendations.
- Train junior technicians on equipment maintenance and safety protocols.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
- Grade-A Physical Chemical License required.
- Minimum of 3 years of field service experience in water or wastewater treatment.
- Proven knowledge of physical and chemical treatment processes, including coagulation, filtration, and disinfection.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and report writing.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Experience with SCADA systems and automated control equipment.
- Knowledge of state and federal water quality regulations.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily field-based with occasional office work.
- Exposure to hazardous chemicals and water treatment environments.
- On-call availability for emergency maintenance.
