We are currently have an exciting Tool Stores Operative opportunity awaiting a proactive and driven individual looking to learn and grow with the business. No direct previous experience is necessary but previous experience of working in a similar environment will be advantageous.
As a Tool Stores Operative you will be responsible for providing tool deliveries to the production floor in accordance with the production plan (MES software), locating the tools, preparing the production paperwork and relevant mould pack while following all site procedures/polices and ensuring all H&S policies are adhered to.
Due to the nature of the role, this can be quite physical and it will require you being comfortable with using cranes and PPT equipment. Full training and sign off for these tasks will be given.
You will work under the management of our manufacturing department and closely with our production operational teams and tool room team to handle all tool requirements.
This is a fast paced, busy environment where no two days are the same. Organisation and constant communication with our team is essential to the success of the department.
The role benefits from a continental day shift pattern of 4 on 4 off 7am-7pm with overtime where possible.
