Summary:


Essentra is seeking a dedicated 3rd Shift Molding Manager in Flippin, AR who will report to the Operations Manager and lead and support our molding team during overnight operations. In this role, you will oversee production, safety, maintenance, and quality processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company standards. You’ll play a key part in driving continuous improvement and fostering a positive, safe work environment. The hours are 12:00AM - 8:00AM, Tues - Saturday.  



Typical Accountabilities:


  • Troubleshoot and adjust molding parameters to maintain quality and maximize output.
  • Ensure products are produced on time, cost-effectively, and meet quality standards.
  • Lead and develop a team through daily tasks, scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
  • Motivate and coach team members to achieve objectives and maintain compliance with work instructions and quality processes.
  • Promote a safe work environment by enforcing company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping practices.
  • Manage emergency shutdowns, ensuring safe evacuations, equipment shutdown, and communication with emergency personnel.
  • Coordinate tooling and equipment availability, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
  • Collaborate with support departments to resolve technical or mechanical issues.
  • Work with management to implement company policies and drive process improvements.
  • Track team competencies and provide development opportunities.

 

 

Qualifications:


  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5 years of machine operation experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Injection molding experience preferred; plastics or similar manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in varying temperatures throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and basic understanding of electrical circuits.
  • Competent in machine shop operations and quality inspection.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Certifications:  Lockout/Tagout and a Fork Truck
