We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our global product team, within our Access Hardware Category. In this role, you will drive the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of our extensive product portfolio. You will work cross-functionally with key stakeholders across the business to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs and align with our business objectives.
Typical Accountabilities:
Product Strategy & Portfolio Management
- Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps in alignment with company objectives and market needs
- Manage a portfolio of components through the entire product lifecycle—from concept and development to launch and phase-out
- Conduct portfolio analysis to identify gaps, optimise offerings, and ensure a competitive market position
Market & Customer Insight
- Analyse global market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity to inform product development and positioning
- Engage with key customers and industry stakeholders to gather Voice-of-Customer (VOC) insights
- Translate customer needs into clear product requirements and value propositions
New Product Development (NPD)
- Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of new product development projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Develop business cases for new products, including market opportunity assessments and financial justification
- Ensure new products comply with applicable regulations, quality standards, and sustainability goals
Commercial & Financial Ownership
- Drive product profitability through effective pricing strategies, cost management, and margin optimisation
- Monitor product performance, including revenue, volume, and profitability metrics; identify opportunities to improve
- Support sales teams with product training, technical expertise, and customer-facing materials to drive growth
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class products
- Ensure operational readiness by supporting demand forecasting, inventory planning, and production capacity alignment
- Work with regional teams to address localised product requirements and support go-to-market initiatives
- Drive increased product knowledge, including understanding manufacturing capabilities, material properties, product performance and end user applications
- Maintain accuracy of product information that relates to attributes, lifecycle and sales enablement in conjunction with the Data and Product Information Management teams
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure products meet all global regulatory, safety, and quality standards
- Support resolution of customer quality issues and lead product improvement initiatives where needed
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field
- Proven track record of managing complex product portfolios on a global scale
- Experience and knowledge of Access Hardware or Mechanical Components products, applications and market
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and supply chain considerations
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to build and interpret financial models
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel internationally to engage with customers, suppliers, and global teams
