Epic Cupid Analyst

Contract | Remote with Limited Onsite Travel

We are supporting a healthcare organization in the search for an experienced Epic Cupid Analyst to join a high-impact cardiology-focused initiative. This is a contract opportunity for a hands-on Epic professional who enjoys partnering closely with clinical teams, improving workflows, and supporting critical cardiovascular systems.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will serve as a key contributor to the ongoing support, enhancement, and optimization of Epic Cupid applications supporting cardiology and cardiovascular service lines. You will work alongside clinical, operational, and technical partners to ensure systems are reliable, efficient, and aligned with patient care needs. While the role is primarily remote, occasional onsite presence may be required for major milestones such as go-lives or key stakeholder sessions.

What You Will Do

  • Configure, maintain, and support Epic Cupid functionality across cardiology and cardiovascular workflows
  • Contribute to system implementations, version upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner directly with clinicians and operational leaders to understand current-state workflows and translate needs into effective Epic solutions
  • Support workflow design, validation, and optimization efforts to improve clinical and operational efficiency
  • Participate in testing activities including unit, integrated, and user acceptance testing
  • Provide go-live and post-go-live support, including issue triage and stabilization as needed
  • Collaborate with technical and interface teams to ensure accurate data flow between Epic modules and external systems
  • Create and maintain build documentation, specifications, and workflow materials
  • Support knowledge transfer to internal teams to ensure long-term sustainability
  • Ensure all configuration aligns with Epic standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance system performance and user experience

What We Are Looking For

  • Five or more years of hands-on experience supporting Epic Cupid or cardiology-focused Epic applications
  • Strong understanding of cardiology clinical workflows and operational processes
  • Experience participating in Epic implementations, upgrades, or optimization projects
  • Epic Cupid certification required
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, contract-based environment
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel onsite occasionally when project needs require
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clinical and technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to documentation quality
  • Experience supporting a cancer center environment is a plus, but not required

Why This Role

This contract offers the chance to support meaningful clinical systems, work with engaged stakeholders, and make a direct impact on cardiovascular care delivery. It is well suited for Epic professionals who value autonomy, collaboration, and project-driven work within complex healthcare environments.
