Position Overview
As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring construction projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will coordinate various aspects of project execution while enhancing your expertise in construction management.
Responsibilities
• Project Coordination: Support the Project Manager in planning and managing construction projects from start to finish.
• Documentation Management: Oversee project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Scheduling: Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules to ensure timely progress.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Cost Oversight: Support budget management and track costs to align with project objectives.
• Site Monitoring: Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Problem Resolution: Help troubleshoot on-site issues and implement effective solutions.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination or management.
• Familiarity with construction processes, building codes, and safety standards.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project).
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
