Maintenance Engineer for an innovative and quality-focused Food Manufacturer based in Lancashire. The Successful candidate ideally from an electrical background will work as part of a successful team.
Reporting to the COO, responsibilities for the role will include:
· Troubleshooting electrical, and automation issues to minimise production interruptions
· Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment failures
· Collaborating with production, quality, and safety teams to support new projects
· Overseeing and continuously improving maintenance activities for electrical equipment and buildings
· Ensuring the hygienic design of new equipment and improvements to existing equipment
· Supporting plant audits and maintain full documentation of maintenance activities and equipment history
Essential / Desirable skills include:
· Electrical background, either as engineer or electrician
· Knowledge about PLC programming preferred.
· Ability to work with different IT programs.
· Excellent, verbal and written skills
