Our client has asked for our help in looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer for a permanent position.

Here is what you'll be doing on a day to day basis:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance features across various applications and platforms
• Take ownership of code changes and projects from initial ideation through deployment and release.
• Participate in project planning by providing estimates and analyzing risks.
• Engage in technical design and architecture discussions.
• Implement unit testing and integrate it with continuous integration tools as required.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues in existing code, suggesting viable solutions and improvements.
• Write and maintain comprehensive project and technical documentation.
• Manage build processes and continuous integration delivery pipelines.

Here is the type of person we are looking for:

• 4+ years of software development experience Proven experience in production web development
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven Ruby on Rails programming skills in a production environment.
• Proficiency in HTML5, SASS, CSS3, JavaScript (including React, CoffeeScript and ES6+)
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles Experience with common libraries such as RSpec, and caching solutions Knowledge of MVC, mocking, ORM, and RESTful concepts
• Familiarity with server-side templating languages like Liquid, Slim, and HAML
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Salary: 95K-160K
