About the Job: The Accounting Specialist will provide accounting and financial reporting support across the organization, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. This person will assist with month-end close, treasury functions, and special projects while working closely with the Accounting/Finance team. It’s an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment with exposure to multiple areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries; develop variance analysis to support month-end close.
• Maintain the integrity of general ledger and subsidiary accounts through detailed reconciliations.
• Enter and reconcile weekly bank transactions; support treasury activities.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses for various departments as needed.
• Assist with special projects and provide backup support to accounts payable and other accounting functions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-3+ years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting best practices.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software.

Compensation: $24 - $28/hour
