ISC’s team of Sales Recruiters is partnering with a leading power quality company to identify an experienced and detail oriented Inside Sales Specialist in the Oakland area.
The Inside Sales Specialist will support the Sales Team toward meeting revenue goals while streamlining and strengthening sales operations. Success comes from working closely with cross-functional partners across Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Finance. The role primarily focuses on preparing quotes and processing incoming orders.

Inside Sales Specialist Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or equivalent with electrical sales experience
- 3+ years in sales support or inside sales – understanding of B2B sales, sales forecasting, and pipeline management
- Knowledge of low-voltage (≤600V) systems a plus
- Experience in power/electrical/electronics industry a plus
- Ability to read technical specs and contracts; Ability to translate customer needs to internal teams
- Proficient with Salesforce; experience with ERP tools
- Highly organized and detail-oriented self-starter with strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, bringing initiative, energy, and strong problem-solving skills, along with exceptional communication

Inside Sales Specialist Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries using best practices
- Support Sales by managing Salesforce data, tracking opportunities, and maintaining accurate forecasts
- Partner with Sales and internal teams to move opportunities through the pipeline and meet customer needs
- Assist with lead generation, qualification, and closing support
- Prepare quotes, process orders, and coordinate with Operations for order fulfillment
- Help onboard partners and support training and marketing materials
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes and maintain sales support documentation
