Position Overview
A well-established industrial solutions provider is seeking an Account Manager – Chemical Sales to support continued growth in a defined regional territory. This role involves selling specialized products and associated service solutions to commercial and industrial clients. The position requires a balance of new business development and ongoing account management across multiple industry sectors.
Job Description
The Account Manager – Chemical Sales is responsible for identifying new opportunities, actively prospecting and developing accounts, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
Account Manager - Chemical Sales - Must Have:
· 3+ years minimum - Industrial Sales in Account Management – within one of the following: Petrochemicals, Paints/Coatings, Oil & Gas
· Must live in Southern Louisiana
· Local Market knowledge experience – Southern Louisiana Territory
· Must have a good working knowledge of industrial contacts in Petro Chemical, Oil & Gas, Coatings/Paint
· Mechanically inclined - Technical knowledge component of products, coatings, high temperatures, service conditions
· Existing network of established contacts in South Louisiana region.
· CRM Management – Zoho – See Value
· Preferred college degree in a business or construction related field
· Proficiency in Microsoft applications
· Must be able to pass background checks as required for entry into facilities along Gulf Coast

· Experience in commercial sales environments, including service-based offerings and facility-related applications
· Responsible for growing existing customer accounts, with approximately 15–20% of efforts focused on outbound new business development
· Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively use computers and standard business programs
· Possesses strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to evaluate changing conditions and make sound decisions
· Willingness to learn and understand company-specific products, services, and applications across multiple industry sectors
Soft Skills:
Relationship building, Collaboration & Teamwork, Excellent Presentation skills, Consultative Approach, Time Management & Organization, Active Listening & Communication Skills. Strong emphasis on gauging aptitude for RELATIONSHIP BUILDING along with an attitude of customer service.
