The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base, driving revenue growth, and strengthening our position as a trusted partner in the digital transformation landscape. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and promoting our digital solutions and services to meet those needs.
Essential Expertise
- Sold the Microsoft stack or some of it
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- The ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels
- Results-orientated mindset
- - Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Responsibilities
On a daily basis your varied role will include:
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to identify and target potential clients within the UK and international markets
- - Analysing market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine and adapt strategies
- - Proactively generating leads, conducting client meetings, and presenting tailored digital transformation solutions to potential clients
- - Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing continuous support and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- - Building and maintaining strong relationships with partner sales colleagues, providing continuous support and ensuring high levels of partner satisfaction
- - Gaining an in-depth understanding of our digital transformation technologies and effectively communicating their value proposition to clients
- - Preparing and delivering engaging presentations, proposals, and demonstrations tailored to client needs
- - Managing and prioritising a robust sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities
- - Using CRM tools to maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and client interactions
- - Working closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions
- - Providing feedback and market insights to help shape product development and marketing strategies
- - Meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets, contributing to the company's overall growth objectives
